吉野に訪れている方や、地元の方々の手で、時計を作るプロジェクトです。 吉野の”瞬間”を記録することでそれが「吉野の時計」の一部になります。例えば、あなたが吉野の地で、今現在を記録すれば、あなたが「吉野の時計」の現在の時刻を作り、誰かが同時刻で記録をしない限り、毎日同じ時刻でそれが流れ続けます。この時計は、全世界のどこからでも閲覧可能であり、吉野のエリアでの記録が続く限り、永遠に変化し続けていきます。 自分が記録した”瞬間”が他者のそれと交わり、時空を超えて繋がる時計を体験して下さい。
This artwork is by people visiting Yoshino. This is a project to make a clock. By recording the "moments" you are experiencing, you become part of the "Yoshino Clock". For example, the current time when you record using your own device, you will be the author of this time. This watch can be viewed anywhere in the world at any time and will continue to change forever as long as the record in this Yoshino area continues. Experience a clock in which the "moments" you record intersect with those of others and connect across time and space.

吉野の時計 -瞬間の採集と集積- は、回転を繰り返す「時計」という運動の中に、人の体験や記憶が加わることで、常に変化し続けるループする映像を生み出す装置です。そしてそれは、私たちが日々過ごしている日常と同じです。
“CLOCK -yoshino- Collecting and accumulating moments” create looping images that constantly change by adding human experiences and memories to the rotating "clock" movement. And it is the same as the daily life we spend every day.And it is the same construction of the daily life we spend every day.

設置された円盤を中心に、半径3kmの範囲で瞬間を採集しています。このエリアの中にいる来場者から常に瞬間を採集し続け更新を続けています。
Moments are collected in a radius of 1.86mile around a disc-shaped monument. We are constantly collecting and updating moments from visitors within this area.

エリア内の人たちは、いわば時計の作者であり、エリア外の人たちはこの時計の鑑賞者と言えます。そして、ループする映像の仕組みによってその瞬間は、そこにいない人のその瞬間と同タイムラインで結びつき、関係を作り出します。
The people in the area are, so to speak, the creators of the clock, and the people outside the area are the viewers of the clock. The looping mechanism connects the moment to the moment of someone else on the same timeline, creating a time relationship.

moment
momentという言葉は、瞬間という意味ですが、瞬間の長さは捉え方次第です。 そして瞬間という概念が生まれるには、それ以外の時間が膨大に広がっていることを意味します。 おそらく、この時計の全ての時間が埋まるには、とても長い月日が必要でしょう。 しかし、何も表示されない時間も、吉野には時間が流れ続け、たくさんの瞬間が生まれ、 そして瞬間は継続し続けています。何も見えない、聞こえない時間にこそ、全生命が同じ時間を生きていることが現れ、そして今ではない誰かが生きた膨大な時間の痕跡を見ることができます。私たちは同じ瞬間同じ場所に居なくとも、脈々と流れる時間の浮かぶ共同体です。
The length of the moment depends on how you perceive it. And when the concept of a moment is born, it means that the rest of the time is vast. It will probably take a very long time to fill up all the time on this clock. However, even when nothing is displayed, time continues to flow in Yoshino, and many moments are created. Also the moment continue to keep going.Only when you can't see or hear anything, all life appears to be living at the same time, and we can see the traces of an enormous amount of time that someone else has lived. Even if without being in the same place at the same moment, we are in community in time flows.
